High Vis:
Insert: 2 Jan 2021
This is a heavy trafficked area by local hikers and neighborhood kids, beware of frequent muggles. I recommend logging this cache under cover of darkness or be conspicuous (secret agent man) during the daytime.
High-vis was a term we used in the Marine Corps, short for “high visibility”. The main MCX (Marine Corps Exchange) & Commissary were considered a series of small and large open danger areas for Reconnaissance Marines, while in garrison. We characterized the “Exchange” as high-vis because you had to negotiate overly motivated First Sergeants, just waiting to “life you out”, “blow you up”, “put you on blast”, “knife hand you” for many reasons, i.e., haircut out of regs, uniform not squared away, etc. “Hey! Yoo-hoo, c’mere!”
This geocache is dedicated to my last First Sergeant. “I don’t care how you do it, do it!”
Oorah!
Remarks:
Geocache has good cover and concealment, is urban masked and is mechanical.
Amplifying remarks:
"Lefty loosey, righty tighty" to gain entry to cache. Leave geocache better than you found it, veg up/camouflage when done, “you’ve got Charlie all over the place.”
Cache in, trash out. If you take something, leave something of equal or greater value.
