Geocache Description:

The 36-mile Albany-Hudson Electric Trail, which runs from the City of Hudson to the City of Rensselaer, officially opened on December 30, 2020. This segment starts near the  Stuvesant Falls, which used to power the trolley line in the early 20th century, and heads north past woods, streams, wetlands, and farm lands. It connects to the existing roadway on Sunnyside Road just South of Kinderhook. The stonedust surface is stroller-friendly and this segment is almost entirely level, making it welcoming to all fitness levels.

There is ample parking at the Stuyvesant Falls end (where the trail crosses Rt 25A / Hudson Avenue), and a few cars can park on the shoulder near the Sunnyside trailhead. Per AHET rules, the trail should be used only dyring daylight hours.

Farmlands surround this cache, so let's see what crops are growing here.
