We all have seen these giant statues so many times while driving by on a highway, but how many actually came to see them up close? This cache is one more reason to do so!
American Statesmanship Park (aka "Mount Rush Hour") was donated in 2012. The statues created by David Adickes are about 20 ft tall and represent Stephen F. Austin, Sam Houston, Abraham Lincoln, and George Washington. David Adickes is best known for statues of Sam Houston in Huntsville, Stephen Austin in Brazoria county, and a number of other monumental works.
