[LV] Venta un Abava ir divas ļoti skaistas upes Kurzemē. Ja esat atvēruši šo slēpni, tad jūs noteikti jau būsiet tās ļoti labi iepazinuši ar citiem slēpņiem, taču, vai jūs esat bijuši pie Abavas ietekas Ventā? Lūk, tad pamudinājums apmeklēt un apskatīt šo vietu - pirmo reizi vai arī atkārtoti. Un visādi citādi vēl viena jauna ikona Manģenes mežos, jo, ja vien nelaivojat pa kādām no upēm, tad šī vieta noteikti nesanāk pa ceļam un aizņems gana daudz laika! Protams, vienmēr var šo pārveidot par T5 un pārpeldēt pāri Ventai vai Abavai! :)
Lai mazliet mazāk jālauza galva par piekļūšanu un būtu vēl kāda pievienotā vērtība apkārtnes izpētei, tad:
-Parkinga koordinātās jūs atradīsiet meža avotiņu. Ūdens ir tīrs un labs - ne tikai tiek patērēts ģimenes lauku īpašumā, bet pa kādai pudelei atvests arī uz pilsētu;
-Pļavnieks ir kāds īstens meža vecis, par kuru varētu kādu baisu stāstu sarakstīt. Viņa puspamesto mitekli redzēsiet pa ceļam. Visādi citādi viņa gaļas lopi (6 vai 7 govis) visu cauru gadu ganās savā vaļā un tām dažām apkārtējām mājām (jā, arī tālāk par 5 km) regulāri izdara gana lielas skādes - izmīda dārzu, saplēšs, apēd utt.. Diemžēl, bet neko jau nepadarīsi;
-Ja ir interese, tad blakus Parkingam atrodas pamestas mājas Dangas, var izložņāt un apskatīt;
-Savukārt vēl mazliet tālāk atradīsiet uzbērumu un pēdas vecajam tiltam pār Abavu.
Lai arī ceļš nav pārāk gluds, taču ar visparastāko ielas auto līdz avotiņam mierīgi nokļūsiet. Gadu mijā ap pamastajām mājām ceļu pamatīgi izbojāja meža tehnika, tā kā tur uzmanīgi, varbūt labāk ar kājām! ;) Pēc auto novietošanas sekojiet taciņai līdz pļavai un tad jau pa pļavas malu līdz upju krustpunktam!

[EN] Venta and Abava are two very beautiful rivers in Kurzeme. If you have opened this cache, then you have probably already become very familiar with other caches, but have you been to the confluence of the Abava and Venta rivers? Here's a suggestion to visit and see this place - either for the first time or again. And otherwise, another new icon in the Mangene forests, because if you don't navigate through any of the rivers, then this place is definitely not on the way and takes quite a bit of time! Of course, you can always turn this into a T5 and cross the Venta or Abava by boat! :)
To make access a little easier and add some waypoints to exploring the area:
-At the parking coordinates, you will find a small forest spring. The water is clean and good - not only used on the family farm but also brought to the city in a bottle or two.
-Pļavnieks is a true forest man, about whom one could write a scary story. You will see his semi-abandoned dwelling on the way. Otherwise, his livestock (6 or 7 cows) graze freely all year round and regularly cause significant damage to a few neighboring houses (yes, even beyond 5 km) - trampling gardens, tearing down fences, eating, etc. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it.
-If you are interested, there is an abandoned house of Dangas next to the parking lot, which you can explore and see.
-And a little further away, you will find a sandbank and the remains of an old bridge over the Abava.
Although the road is not very smooth, you can easily reach the spring with the most common street car. The forest machinery significantly damaged the road near the abandoned houses over the year, so be careful, maybe it's better to walk! ;) After parking your car, follow the path to the meadow and then along the edge of the meadow to the intersection of the rivers!
