Z uwagi na zachowane wartości historyczne i artystyczne, konserwator zabytków objął ochroną zespół budowlany Zakładów Mechanicznych „Ursus”, w którego skład wchodzą: odlewnia aluminium, modelarnia, relikty odlewni żeliwa.
Cieszy mnie ten fakt bo oznacza to, że ten relikt pewnej epoki pozstanie tu na dłużej. Przekształenie pozostałych części pofabrycznych w osiedla mieszkalne dzieje się tak szybko, że nie długo ze sladów fabrycznych zabudowań zostanie tylko dokumetacja.

Wejście do środka jest bardzo niebezpieczne ze względu na duże ryzyko upadku. Dlatego stanowczo odradzam.

Ursus Pattern Shop
This building is a remnant of the Ursus Pattern Shop - Metallurgical Plant.Due to the preservation of historical and artistic values, the conservator of monuments has protected the building complex of Mechanical Works “Ursus” which include: aluminum foundry, pattern shop, relics of iron foundries.
I am pleased with this fact because it means that this relic of a certain epoch will remain here for a long time. The transformation of the remaining post-factory buildings into residential estates is happening so quickly that only documentation will be left of the traces of the factory.
