Geocache Description:

In the summer of 2016, two long-standing Scout groups in Moncton decided to merge together: Steeves Memorial Scout Group and Mount Royal Scout Group combined forces and renamed themselves 1st Jones Lake Scout Group. This is the 5th cache in a series of hides by the youth of 1st Jones Lake Scouting.

This year, the Scouts asked to go explore more of Greater Moncton's parks and to do more hiking and exploring, and so on a beautiful January evening, we went on a hike through the park. There was fresh snowfall on the ground and the tree branches were laden with the white stuff. We decided to explore the backside of the reservoir for the first time, and were delighted by the state of the trails.

You are looking for a very special cache hidden in a conifer tree. You'll know it when you see it. It's no bigger than your hand, and hidden about 1.5 metres above the ground.

Have fun, and enjoy the Great Outdoors!
