Driving along a nice quiet road I spotted this ideal location for a cache and thought it needed one. A great place to stop and pick up an easy Smile.
Watch for other traffic on the road (occasionally there is some) roaming stock (none on the road today) and wild goats (plenty of these). Road is gravel but in very good condition and probably suitable for camper vans if you really want to come up here with one although a caravan may not be wise. I have placed a number of caches along here to make it worth the trip and when I have more containers available will add more.
Kids will probably enjoy getting out of the car to stretch their legs as there is a very small walk from the parking waypoint, just remember to watch them on the road just in case a local farmer is moving along the road during the day or some hoon from town is exploring the back roads of Waitomo.
