Well worth a drive and only an hour from Cairns on the lush tropical Atherton Tablelands you will find a dairy farm that has opened the doors or rather their gates to the public. With the farming enterprise positioned between Atherton, Malanda and Yungaburra you will find a fully operational dairy farm (including a free animal nursery which is great for kids), a gourmet cheese factory, a café/restaurant and hand-crafted chocolate.
This cache is a quick park and grab, ***but is only accessible during the operating hours of the farm, which are currently 10am to 4pm, Thursday to Sunday***. The lovely proprietor has given permission for this cache, but asks for your respect in only cache hunting during these hours please, as it is a family farm and they don't want people pulling up at all hours of the day. This is very important. It is a jam jar with room for small swaps (but BYOP).
