Welcome to Oak Harbor's Flat Iron Park.
This park gets it's name from its shape. Located at the west entrance of the village, it is bordered by Water, Main and Toussaint Streets. A gazebo built “by the community, for the community” in 1976 has served as a sight for weddings, picnics, organization meetings and much more. This park also serves as a well known county landmark with a memorial to local veterans of World War I in 1919 and rededicated to all veterans of all conflicts in the late 1980’s.
Cherry Mom has always loved Billy Idol even if she was born 9 years after the cache name came out.
This cache may require extreme stealth depending on what time of day you choose. The park itself is not a popular location but there are a few homes and a major road very close to ground zero. Please place cache back in the exact location to avoid muggles spotting it and to allow cachers to find a smile.
We loaded it with swag because it seems the caches around here never have much in them. Let's try to keep trading for equal or better stuff! We tried to include swag for all ages.
Congratulations to SW00P and Swing Dancer for getting the FTF
