Looks like our timing is off, and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't seen any maintenance plan posted here, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed, and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Archiving due to lack of maintenance is permanent.

Geocache Description:

This cache replaces Lone Pine Overlook 1, which was destroyed by the wildlife.

Long hike Steep hills Overgrown Steep dropoffs No water available
This is either a long, pleasant hike or a long, rugged hike depending on the route you choose. Older kids may be okay but small kids won't make it. Bring plenty of water and expect to fight at least some overgrowth whatever way you go. Wear long pants in the summer due to stinging plants.

The cache is on a loess bluff near a spectacular view of the Missouri River valley. Once you find the cache go have a seat at N39°37.866 W94°57.286 to fill out the log book and enjoy the view.

A few of the trails here are barely maintained and frequently disappear in the overgrowth only to reappear some distance later. There are also several old service roads and trails that are not shown on the park map. If you depart from the main trails, a little "lost" time is likely to be part of the experience so plan acccordingly. A compass and trail map (one is provided below) are recommended.
