THIS IS HOCKEY BAY AND THE THUNDER ARE CUP CRAZY...AGAIN!
Have to update this webpage after the amazine Stanley Cup Championship repeat in 2021 for their 3rd Championship in team history.
With all the chaos and crisis of 2020, Tampa Bay Lightning gave the Bay area a boost by miraculously winning their second Stanly Cup.
Even without fans in the stands we, the Thunder, were as proud of out team as we were in 2004 for the first Cup Championship.
Our Lightning has had it's ups and downs and has seen a lot of great players come and go.
The 2020 Championship was extra special and extra exciting for players and fan alike.
We've built this team with grit and grind.
Our defense always stood firm..
Our players always play like all stars, because many are.
Some have hockey in their blood and oppose their siblings.
Some come with a great resume and shine even brighter in the sunshine state.
Some had only one goal in mind, preventing goals.
And that goal of no goals holds as true today as it did in 1992.
If you're part of the Thunder, or Sticks of Fire, you'll probably have an easier time but this will still be a challenge.
GO BOLTS!!! BE THE THUNDER!!!
