Geocaching has many types of caches that you can EASILY place and my favorite is the MULTI Cache. It is like a becon on the map for me. It is like I am an ant at a picnic and the picnic is the WORLD. Just attracted to the sweet taste of a multi cache. Well I looked on the internet and found other reasons to get out there and get a multi cache today.
....I like multis that offer something that a regular cache cannot. Field puzzles, hiding coords in creative ways, bringing you to interesting locations that might be closer than 0.1 miles apart. This is why I don't care much about the loss of virtuals. You can bring people to to any spot/object by making it a stage of a multi.
....The thing about multi caches that I find interesting is that there are typically several stages and once you have found all the stages than you can feel like you have accomplished something unique.
----When you're on a streak & can only get one geocache a day a multi provides you with more geocaching fun on a nice day.
At Posted you are looking for a beacon too. It has an ID number. Plug that number into the checker to get final coordinates.
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
