According to one of Hrušov's legends, a vast treasure is hidden under this hill. There is only one day in a year when you can see it - on a Good Friday when the Passion, the story of Christ, is sung in the church of Hrušov. During that time, a cave appears to reveal a pile of gold with a rooster sitting on top. You can take as much as you want but be quick - when the last words of Passion are sung, the rooster will crow, and all of the treasure will fall back into the depths along with you.
Maybe it's true, or maybe it is not, but several older Hrušov's citizens have mentioned the existence of numerous tunnels, some of which would end under the castle Čabraď.
While you are there, enjoy a great view of Low Tatras to the North and the hills of Hungary to the South.
