Strongly recommend you hike straight up the hill from ViewII, then lateral (contour interval) over and down to ViewI. This will keep you out of most of the scratchies. Not recommended to approach from directly below.
A 30 minute drive from downtown Anchorage, and a one hour hike if your a fast hiker, otherwise, plan on a two hour hike. (plus one hour down) It is a 1.4 mile hike, and a
1,000 foot elevation gain from your car. (net) Enjoy the view! Bear repellent recomended.
