Skyye53 takes the GLWT to Howe Island Traditional Cache

Did you know that the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail actually crosses from Highway 2 south onto Howe Island and crosses the south shore to the east and comes out to Highway 2 again and meets more of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail?

Here you will come to the first section of a series of caches I placed to take you along the North Shore Road, south on the Lower Side Road and back track on Howe Island Drive west and back to the ferry.

At the time of placing these caches the cost of the Ferry (return) was $8. 

Caches in the series: Skyye53 and Howe Island 2021*, may be done from west to east or alternate. 

ALL caches are winter friendly, have an appropriate spot to pull over or drive in an access field road AND have write on rain logsheets. I would recommend bringing tweezers in case the spindle apparatus for the sport bottles may get damaged over time.
