Plants don’t have much choice in where they are planted, by the wind or by animals, so they need to take whatever opportunity comes along, and make the best of it. The forest giant here survived for many years, and now offers an opportunity to several smaller organisms. Closest parking is at the park gate. Note that no dogs are allowed in areas near the Heritage Farm. Container is a small (60 ml) camoed screw-top container, less than 2m above ground and about 2 m off the trail. Search gently!
