牧水山標高875公尺，擁有三等三角點No.6369。這裡曾經是太魯閣戰爭的戰場，因此有包括忠魂碑等眾多古蹟可以造訪。從合流步道旁的登山口出發，沿著路條一路陡上即可到達山頂。需注意的是雖然路跡清楚，但是仍建議攜帶充足裝備，並仔細閱讀地圖才推薦造訪。
Mushui Mountain is 875 meters high and has a Tri-Benchmark No.6369. It used to be the battlefield of the Taroko War, so there are many historical sites. Starting from the mountain trail next to the Heliu Trail, follow the road steeply all the way up to the top of the mountain. It should be noted that although the trail is clear, it is still recommended to bring sufficient equipment and read the map carefully before recommending a visit.
