Sadly my (Phil's) Mum passed away in late 2020, finally succumbing to the illness she had bravely battled for many years. In her final months, due to lockdowns and shielding and such like she wasn't able to get out much but, her and my Dad would drive round the villages and often stop off here to admire the view over the town where she had lived for over 50 years.
It was a special site for her, it is a special site for me – let’s keep it that way.
Come for the Cache, stay a while for the view and thank you for visiting Mum.
The cache is a small round clip-lock box with camo tape. There is a small spot for a car or two to park within yards of the cache and even a handy bench. If this proves popular and safe we'll probably drop in a few little swaps.
The eagle-eyed among you may have spotted this was placed on 14th March 2021 – Mother’s Day – just another little tribute to Mum
