Pärnu tänavatel jalutades märkasin üht huvitavat tahvlit. Seal seisab: "Selles kohas XVIII sajandi lõpul ehitatud hoones asusid: 1786-1912 LINNA VAESTEMAJA ..." See pakkus mulle huvi, mille tõttu on seal nüüd aare.
Nullis olev hoone oli apostliku õigeusu koguduse vaestemaja, ehitatud 20.-nda sajandi alguses. Nõukogude ajal tegutses siin sidekeskus, mis segas lääne raadiojaamu. 1994. hoone restaureeriti ja läke Pärnu Telefonikeskusele, tänapäeval on eravalduses. Sellest hoonest veidi kaugemal kui aardeulatuses asub esmalt nimetatud infotahvel ja selle lähedal loogilises kohas aare.
Suur-Posti 22 tänapäevane uhke vaestemaja
Tammsaare tänava eestlastele mõeldud vaestemaja plaani-projekti koostas linnaarhitekt A. Jung. Maja ehitati ehitusmeister K. Kleini juhtimisel. Ehitus valmis 1912. aasta juulis. Hoone on lammutatud.

[LAT thanks to Matisons!] Pastaigājoties pa Pērnavas ielām, es pamanīju kādu interesantu plāksni. Uz tās ir rakstīts: “Šajā vietā, XVIII gadsimta beigās celtajā ēkā, atradās: 1786-1912 PILSĒTAS NABADZĪGO MĀJA..”. Šāds fakts man likās interesants, tāpēc es izdomāju šeit izveidot slēpni.
Ēka, kas atrodas sākuma koordinātēs bija Apustuļu pareizticīgās draudzes bērnu nams, celts 20-tā gadsimta sākumā. Padomju laikos te darbojās sakaru centrs, kas traucēja Rietumu radiostacijām.
1994 gadā ēka tika restaurēta un pārgāja Pērnavas Telefona centra īpašumā, mūsdienās ēka ir privātīpašums. Netālu no šī ēkas, nedaudz tālāk kā viena slēpņa atļautais attālums, atrodas iepriekš minētais info dēlis, un tā tiešā tuvumā arī pats slēpnis.
[ENG] While walking on the streets of Pärnu, I noticed an interesting board. It says: "In this place in the building built at the end of the XVIII century were located: 1786-1912 CITY POORHOUSE .." (in Estonian). It seemed exiting to me, which is why I placed here a geocache.
Building at GZ was the orphanage of the Apostolic Orthodox Church, built in the early 20th century. During the Soviet era, there was a communications center that interfered with Western radio stations. In 1994, the building was restored and adopted by Pärnu Telephone Center, today it is privately owned. A little further from this building, a little bit more far than one cache range, is the first-mentioned information board and a logical place for the cache near it.
The project of the poor house for Estonians on Tammsaare Street was prepared by the city architect A. Jung. The house was built under the direction of master builder K. Klein. Construction was completed in July 1912. The building has been demolished.
