Geocache Description:

**Cache is at the posted coordinates, but there are requirements that must be met**

Doing your own startup is a Silicon Valley thing. You have a fantastic product and service in the location-based services sector, specifically Geocaching. Your only problem is getting funding for your startup. You need to achieve at least $10 million to launch your company and associated product and services. You will likely need to use multiple sources of funding to raise this kind of money. Your funding options are:

  • Individual investors $500
  • Stealth Investors $5,000
  • Investor pools $5,000
  • Mail campaign funding $5,000
  • Kickstarter investors $7,500
  • Environmental funds $7,500
  • Bitcoin-based funds $7,500
  • Green company funds $10,000
  • Travel tour fund raising $10,000
  • YouTube promotions $25,000
  • Promotion rallies $250,000
  • Large investors $250,000
  • Biotech Engineering Funding $500,000
  • Lost & Found Fundraiser $250,000
  • Museum Fundraiser $250,000
  • Dinner with the founders $250,000
  • Round A VC Funding $500,000

Being an avid geocacher you have mentally mapped these funding options to types of geocaches you may have found. The mapping would look like this.

  • Traditional=Individual investors
  • Unknown=Stealth Investors
  • Multi=Investor pools
  • Letterbox=Mail campaign funding
  • Event=Kickstarter investors
  • CITO=Environmental funds
  • Virtual=Bitcoin-based funds
  • EarthCache=Green company funds
  • Wherigo=Travel tour fund raising
  • WebCam=YouTube promotions
  • Mega Event=Promotion rallies
  • Ground speak=HQ Large investors
  • Biotech Engineering Funding=Project APE Cache
  • L&F Event=Lost & Found Fundraiser
  • GPS Adventures Exhibit=Museum Fundraiser
  • Block Party=Dinner with the founders
  • Round A VC Funding=Giga-Event

Your number of finds of a particular type credits your fund raising with that much money. So, for example, if you have found 10 multi-caches then 10*5000 would give you $50,000 towards your overall funding goal. Once you have raised at least $10 million dollars, you have met the challenge. As with all challenge caches, you must sign the log and satisfy the challenge checker that you are qualified. These may be done in either order but both must be done before you can log a find. All non-qualifying finds will be deleted without notice.

I have qualified for this challenge with $50,850,000
