PLEASE DO NOT USE FORCE TO OPEN THE GEOCACHE
This series of Geocaches, "The Puzzling Trail", consists of containers that require you to solve some kind of puzzle in order to open them. Please only log the cache as 'FOUND IT' once you have opened the puzzle container and signed the log. We think that this beautiful piece of bushland in Capalaba is a place that deserves to be enjoyed and so we hope that unlocking the puzzles in this series will give you a nice reason to spend some time here. None of these containers require force to open them and doing so could break them. Thank you for respecting the containers.
Points of the Compass
The compass is a circle marked off in a clockwise direction in 360 equal units (360 degrees). North is marked at 0°, east at 90°, south at 180° and west at 270°. Midway between these are northeast at 45°, southeast at 135°, southwest at 225° and northwest at 315°. These may again be divided giving another eight points such as north-northeast and north-northwest.
