Some of you have already done the first 3 of my Procrastination caches. Yes, I always have more cache placement ideas. My "Procrastination" caches are those for which I prepared and placed the container and simply didn't get around to writing up the cache page in a timely manner.
This container was placed in the fall season of 2020. (I did check it mid-May of 2021 and it was still dry and in place.) Given that this one only took me 7 months from placement to submission, I may be slowly winning my battle against procrastination.
How to find this one?
You have options - use either letterbox instructions or the geocaching projection technique:
Geocaching projection technique:
- the stated coordinates are only for parking.
- go to the stated waypoint projection point.
- from the projection point, go approximately 247' at a bearing of 7°.
Letterbox technique:
- go to the parking for Deschutes Falls County Falls.
- after parking, walk back to Bald Hill Road SE.
- turn right (east) onto Bald Hill Road and walk to the yellow gate.
- at the south end of the yellow gate, you will see a concrete filled barrel.
- sit on the barrel and reach down at the far end to uncover the container.
Please return the container in an upright position.
