Bizkaiko Aldundiaren Jauregia funtsezko eraikina dugu Euskal Herriko arkitektura garaikidean, eklektizismoaren agerbiderik bikainen eta akabatuenetakoa baita. Las obras, cuyo presupuesto se elevó a un millón doscientas mil pesetas, se iniciaron en 1890 y no se finalizaron hasta 1900.
