Hope you learn a little bit about the US Presidents while you find the caches in this series!

Polk presided over the building of the Washington Monument, and oversaw the issuing of the first postage stamp.

11. James K. Polk (March 4, 1845—March 4, 1849). Democratic. Polk had served as Speaker of the House from 1835 to 1839 and Governor of Tennessee from 1839 to 1841 before defeating Henry Clay for president in 1844 with his promise to annex Texas. He was also a prominent leader of Jacksonian Democracy.

 

In this series each cache will be placed near the number that represents the corresponding US President ( Numbers may be embedded within other numbers (i.e. 341 could be 3, 4, 1, 34 or 41). You are looking for a small cylinder that holds log only.
