This cache is another in a continuing series based upon "points".
That means any geographic feature that appears to come to a point on a map or satellite photo; be it natural or man-made.
I've been wanting to include this very scenic point for some time, but there are problems with cache placement here; first, it is way to muggley on the point, and also . . . it's under the bridge, so - nope!
Enter the offset cache:
The posted coords will bring you to a plaque, from which you will need to glean information to project a waypoint for the final coords.
The text on the plaque mentions 2 specific agencies that provided funding for the facility.
Were they:
A) Florida Inland Navigation District & City of Stuart?
B) Martin County Parks/Rec & MacAurther Foundation?
C) Kiplinger Foundation & Florida Recreational Development Program?
D) Florida Dep. of Environmental Protection & Florida Recreational Development Assistance Program?
A) 262' @ 110°
B) 254' @ 99°
C) 44' @ 252°
D) 129' @ 229°
The final location should give you a good bit more cover than out on the point, but I still need to include the dreaded "Stealth Required" attribute.
Enjoy the area; take in the view & maybe grab a bite to eat.
Have fun!
