An evening Scout meeting and perfect weather for some outdoor activity. With the current restrictions on our Scout Troop we have taken to having our meetings outside, which has turned out to be a good thing. The Scouts get to get some fresh air, exercise, and adventures all while learning some new skills.
This evening we took to the trails in Airport Heights to explore and work on some outdoors skills.

The bike trail system up here winds its way all over the the woods with lots of twists and turns and side trails that go in every direction, so I took the opportunity to lay out a few new caches in the area. Hiding caches in the woods at night presents it's own set of challenges, are they tucked away enough (or to much)? Are they easily spotted from the trail in the daylight? Only time will tell...haha
This one is a fairly simple hide, just off a fork in the trail, hidden about waist-chest high (depending on your height).
Cache is a camoflauged container approx 500ml, hidden in a winter friendly manner.
