You'll drive past many apartments on your right , then you'll pass a highway construction storage yard.,at the end of the road you'll be confronted with a commercial chainlink fence with gates. Drive through the gates, then follow the road left or right(they loop and join) - drive to the far left side past the crew boats,bldg,etc and you'll see plenty of parking and the brand new stairs and sinage talking about the newest Ct. River Northampton park. This park is a 4 way collaboration of 4 entities , Lane Construction who granted right of way to build the park ,City of Northampton Park and Recreation , Ct. Greenway DCR & National Wildlife. The park at the time of this posting is without picnic tables ,but has new stairs and a non motorized boat launch for public use as well as public schools of Northampton.
