Working toward a goal, staying on track and avoiding distractions, “squirrels” and ‘bird walks’ will usually get you there sooner, and usually, more safely.
There can be many distractions in this area at the certain times of year—the flock of turkeys guarded by their Tom, sheep and their lambs in the spring and summer, the Highland cattle you’ll see from the trails circling the heritage farm, and, of course, the large number of muggles who can be around on the sunnier days.
Even with those distractions, finding the cache should be pretty simple.
Note: Dogs are not permitted at the cache location (or in the area of caches 11, 12 and 13 of this series) due to proximity to the active Heritage Farm
The container is a 60 mL screwtop cylinder, wrapped in camo tape, hidden behind a rock (and under a guardian) next to the trail. Pretty wide open area, so it may take some patience to attain a muggle-free moment.
Bus service is available only during Summer months
