Millwood House was originally built in the Millwood mining village in the Knysna forests - site of South Africa’s first modern-era gold mining boom. (It was a very short one!)
Originally built at Millwood Goldfield in the 1880s and later moved to Knysna, this decorative, yellowwood building now houses our local history collection, with local history publications on sale.
