This is a WMA Cache!
Geocaching activity is prohibited during all quota and check-in hunts. Geocaching activity is also prohibited daily until after 10:00 AM during turkey season on WMAs. Since this is a WMA, it also requires a hunting license, a fishing license, or a lands pass to enter. Please visit the links at the bottom of the page for more information on the land and a link to purchase a license\pass.
PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING TO DO THIS CACHE
This cache is only accessible on Saturdays and Sundays after the gates are opened. The entrance you must use to get here is located at this cache: https://coord.info/GC95J13
It is HIGHLY suggested to have water proof boots that can at least cover up to your shin if you are concerned about getting your feet wet. This is a wetland area, after all. Since you are not allowed to modify the terrain\area, I do not suggest using a machete to make your way. I was able to get to it without much trouble, but this may change in other seasons. The terrain rating reflects this.
Cache Info
This cache is in the highway 221 tract of Grand Bay WMA. Don't be afraid of the military signs: if the gates are open, you are good.
This cache should be accessible in a standard vehicle. Just park on the gravel when you get close to the cache, jump or wade the ditch, and you'll be good to go.
The cache is a simple lock n lock container using natural camo. This one will require a couple of small steps into a tree to reach.
An interactive map--including showing your real-time information--can be found here.
