Geocache Description:

This is a challenge cache.

The cache is located at the posted coordinates.

In order to log it as found on-line, you must complete the following challenge requirements:

1- You must find at least one cache each day of January in the same year - all 31 days consecutively.

2- All past finds count.

3- All cache types count

4- To check if you qualify, please use the attached checker.  It would be helpful (but not required) if you pasted your results in your "Found It" log.

5- You may sign the physical logbook without meeting the requirements and you may put a "Write Note" log on line stating that you have signed the logbook.  When you meet the challenge, you may put a "Found It" log on line.

6- Unfortunately, I must delete all on-line found logs not meeting the streak requirements.

All the cache locations in this series were scouted and the caches placed from late fall to early spring.  If you plan to find these caches at other times, please understand that conditions could be very different.

Helpful information:

- There are NO defined trails, this is a bushwhacking series, but there was minimal underbrush.

- There were multiple tiny creek crossings.  These creeks may be nonexistent in the drier months.

- The direct route is not always the best route.

- Some of the areas were swampy, but I kept my feet dry on all three occasions.

- The coords were very jumpy in some locations.  This occurred all three trips - I believe it is the gremlins playing havoc with the satellites.  After streaking for a month, these caches are meant to be found, so there are substantial hints.  Use them as needed.

- There are two extremely SLIGHT "tree climbs".  My caching friend who doesn't go after tree climb caches without their VRS (vertical retrieval specialist) would easily be able to grab these two "tree climbs".  In fact, if you are over 6' 5" and/or have very long arms, you probably don't need to climb any trees.

- All containers are identical cap/cap containers made from tea bottles so they are a bit larger than soda cap/cap containers.  They are camoed with brown and green paint.  The side that you unscrew is the original black cap and has not been painted.

- All logs are write in the rain paper.

- Please return all containers where and how you found them.

- Please use the provided parking coordinates.

- DO NOT attempt these caches from the railroad tracks.  Remain within the SGL boundaries at all times.

- Please wear ORANGE during hunting season.

Enjoy your time in this little used section of SGL 278. I have never seen another person here.

I streaked 1036 days from July 10, 2015 to May 10, 2018, which included leap year.
