Geocache Description:

TAURUS

Taurus is a large and prominent fixture in the winter sky.  As one of the oldest recognized constellations, it has mythologies dating back to the early Bronze Age.  There are several Greek myths involving Taurus.  Two of them include Zeus, who either disguised himself as a bull or disguised his mistress as a bull in multiple escapades of infidelity.  Another myth has the bull being the 7th labor of Hercules after the beast wreaked havoc in the countryside.

There are 17 geocaches located on the paved portion of Hwy 107.  This road can be busy at times so be sure to pull off the narrow road entirely.  Parking is NOT available, so some walking may be required.  You are looking for matching small containers, hidden all the same, near the same host.  There is room for small trade items.  Bring your own pen to sign the log.  This should be an easy PnG series taking less than 2 hours to complete.  Watch for cactus and other pointy plants.

Happy Hunting!
