Geocache Description:

I present our first ever cache! Where the cache stands used to be a prehistoric lake and in the quarry around it was discovered the 'Bearsden Shark', a prehistoric shark fossil now housed in the Hunterian Museum. More information is available at a viewpoint along the path to the south of the cache. You will find the cache on top of a grassy mound.

EDIT: The cache has been removed for maintenance as it has been water-logged for some time. Planning to replace with a new micro-cache in the future but don't have time at the moment. I still recommend the walk though, it's very scenic!
