The Holmesville moutain bike tracks wind through varied bushland in this area. Paperbark forests, creeks, open scrub and firetrails are connected with a maze of single track bike trails. All are of a rather easy standard with few hills - great for kids. Even when the carpark has been full we've encountered few riders while placing caches. We've not seen any snakes here on several visits, but are sure they've seen us, so watch out.... and keep an eye out for motorbikes on the larger tracks. There's no reason you can't walk these, just be ready to stand aside...
All hides are within 10-20m of an MTB traversable track. Do them in numerical order (except for #10 - slot it in after #5) and you'll be able to follow your nose through the tracks. Hides #11 and higher have been pretty randomly added, you'll work it out!
We've tried to keep these hides varied, but relatively easy - enjoy the ride!
The track winds through more young paperbark trees between the two vehicular roads in the area. We're trying a new container style here, it has a micro inner, so logbook/pencil only, but the outer camo/cover is small.
