Take a quick walk and enjoy the scenery at Hallie Marsh Wildlife area, bonus points if you see any actual pheasants! Let us know if you do in the comments. Probably not accessable with more than 18 inches of snow.

Thanks to the The Chippewa Valley Chapter of Pheasants Forever, this “wildlife area is available for use for a wide variety of outdoor enthusiasts including hunters, trappers, birders, hikers and photographers. Recently the area has become a popular destination for local pheasant hunters after the DNR started stocking birds on the land. The property is also known for its diversity of songbirds with more than 90,000 songbirds from the land and the nearby Kemper’s Woods having been banded.” - Brandon Berg, Chippewa Herald
