Geocache Description:

Lunettes by Laurel

As per usual, muggles abound in this spot so stealth is required. Please be mindful of the many children who will be watching you as this is the route to school for many With 4 benches, it's also a great spot to take a break. No need to walk through the foliage, this hide is reachable from the access point.

A little About Laurel Park Land Bridge

The Laurel Park land bridge is your direct garden walkway into the heart of Vancouver’s beautiful Granville Island and is one of Vancouver's best-kept secrets.  The Laurel Street land bridge connects Fairview Slopes with Charleson Park, the False Creek seawall and False Creek Elementary School across busy 6th Avenue and the old “south shoreline” of the B.C. Electric Railway. Perfect for a sunny day stroll along the seawall or to continue with our West 7th cycle path series of caches.

# 5 in the West 7th cycle path series.

For those of you out for a spin with the family, we have planned 8 easy finds along this cycle route. They are all small as this is a very urban area which is full of muggles night and day! Hiding is quite difficult in the city as there are so many restrictions. Please replace the caches carefully and exactly where you found them as the spots were chosen to be tucked away from unintended discovery. Bring your own writing implement as they are all micros or small and usually do not have room for pens or swag in the cache.

Transportation? If possible, bike, walk or transit while doing this series. It’s great for your health and the environment! If you are transiting, the #99, #9 or the #50 bus is nearby or you could take the Canada Line.
