Insects are all around us, they make up more than half of all living things on the planet. There are more than a million known insect species and there are probably many more waiting to be discovered. True insects are those that are classified in the Class ‘Insecta’. They are a major group of arthropods (a type of invertebrate, animals that lack a backbone), and the most diverse group of animals on the Earth. Creepy Crawlies are insects which creep (walk slowly) or crawl (walk on four or more legs).
Some people get a sensation of fear, repugnance, or nervous agitation when they are around a Creepy Crawlie. Parking nearby.
Park hours are 7:00AM until one half hour after sunst.

NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy. Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Geocaching.com Guidelines are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Geocaching.com cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches.
