Greetings Geocachers, I’ve got a rambunctious cache for you today! My partner and I have been trapped inside for months now and have since taken up Geocaching as a hobby. We have found many caches and have finally decided it is time to give back to the geocache community with one of our own!
This cache isn’t as simple as just finding it. It also requires you to solve 3 mysterious and numeric clues from around Central Park. The geocache requires a 3 digit pin to unlock it. Once you have unlocked it, please remember to relock it and scramble the digits for the next person.
Below are 3 clues, each answer will be a single digit number. The clues are in the same order that the geocache lock requires. (e.g. Clue 1 is the first digit, clue 2 is the second digit)
Clue 1
There’s a monument in this park that is dedicated to the victims of impaired driving. On this plaque the artist is named at the end of the inscription. How many letters are in the artist’s last name?
Clue 2
Amongst the majestic evergreens you can try your hand at any of the 18 holes. However, there’s usually a long line on a sunny weekend morning. Luckily, there’s plenty of benches to sit on while you wait for your turn. At the start of the first hole, how many benches are there facing inwards towards the course?
Clue 3
This is a co-operative project of Burnaby and Parks recreation commission. A facility where people can cool down in the summer months. Just remember to bring a towel! In the year this facility opened - what is the last digit?
