Geocache Description:

“Jarhead”

Insert: 2021 Jan 25

Jarhead – a term for a Marine.  Members of the United States Marine Corps are called Jarheads.  Jarhead has several supposed origins: the regulation “High and Tight” haircut resembles a mason Jar (to add insult, or note that the jar is an empty vessel, also, therefore, a Marine’s head an empty vessel.)

This geocache is dedicated to all members of the United States Armed Forces, all Warfighters, past, present, and future.

Remarks:

Geocache has good cover and concealment, is urban masked, and resembles a large vessel or container with a lid.  Geocache is hinged and should not be empty.  Be inconspicuous with this one.

“Oorah Marine!”

Amplifying remarks:

Leave geocache better than you found it.  Cache in, trash out.  If you take something, leave something of equal or greater value.  Only take trackables if you are willing to log it and keep it moving.

Stay safe, ALWAYS look for snakes, have fun, and good luck.

Hint: “To sign the log, you must find the log.”
