This area is a very popular spot for expats to live. There is a local swim club with a competitive swim team, some beautiful high rise condos, public beach access and lots of great restaurants. With pearl hill across the street you can easily get in a really steep walk too.
There was a great set of hawkers just across the street but they burned down at the end of 2020. I am sure they will rebuild them as they were very popular.
