The bane of many a golfer, but this seems to me to be a particularly nasty one, where if the ball goes out of bounds perhaps after too “good” a shot, it could well end up here! Not just out of bounds, but out of reach! How cruel! I’d much rather put on my Joggers and run around the golf course instead! Certainly not my idea of fun. Although I’ve lived here for over 30 years, I’ve never actually been right around the course.
The actual location of this cache was not my first choice. Take a look at the structure nearby. This was my intended location, however, I don’t enjoy making my caches insanely tricky, I initially thought it was not as high.
Campbelltown Golf Club, which at the time of this post, is owned by Campbelltown Catholic Club, and was opened in July 1978 by Sir Roden Cutler. It actually replaced the original course which was located in the vicinity of the current Campbelltown Hospital.
