Having recently completed my own North Island TA adventure (nov/dec 2020) and found over 200 caches as i did so i wanted to mark a milestone by placing a cache at the start of this section. Even though i have live in geraldine for over 20 years i have yet to walk from mesipotamia to tekapo , its been on the todo list for a long time. So this waitangi weekend im pulling my boots back on and heading into them back country for a few days ...so watch this space for more caches!!!
this one though is a nice easy cache near the trail head and car park, once you have driven the hour from the main road .but the views are worth all the dust .
