Location:
Woowookarung Regional Park is a brand new 641-hectare park in Ballarat by the people, for the people. Perfect for bushwalking, trail running and cycling, the informal network of tracks are surrounded by Messmate Stringybark, Grass Trees, and native heath. Take your dog for a walk (on lead) to scenic lookouts, or ride your horse through the former state forest and plantation, while keeping an eye out for kangaroos, echidnas, bird species, and colourful wildflowers.
This geocache will show you a view of Ballarat from the heart of the park. There are picnic tables and a walking track nearby.
