The massive cottonwood tree at the end of this trail is well over two centuries old. It served as a landmark for pioneers on a nearby road that saw most of its traffic between 1870-1890. If the tree was large enough to be a landmark 150+ years ago, imagine what it must have looked like at its peak maturity.
Today, the poor old tree is weathered and a bit worn down. It has lost many of its large branches which now lay around it like the discarded bones of an old hero.
Please put it back exactly where it was, as its location is key for anti-muggling.
Congrats on FTF, GotYour6!
