This cache is being placed in association with the NoVA Chapter of the Military Association of GeoCachers (MAGC). We normally have a monthly event nearby, but those are on hold for the foreseeable future. This cache was placed on land controlled by the Fairfax County Parks Authority. Permission to place it here was granted by Mr. Walter Wesley (are we related?) of the Fairfax County Park Authority, Park Operations Division. We always appreciate their generous cooperation.
Do not attempt to access this cache from Route 28! Use the access road off Westfields Blvd/Stonefield Blvd/Poplar Tree Rd.
This will be a quick find for all geocachers. It might take a few moments to figure out how to retrieve the log, but you'll get it. Just don't use any tools and don't force it. You will need your own writing instrument. Gently reinsert the log container into the bottom of the host, cap end first, until it stays in place.
Parking is available next to GZ. Be stealthy and alert because it is adjacent to a parking lot and very close to some busy athletic fields. It is a few steps into the treeline, so you might encounter poisonous plants, ticks, etc. during the warmer seasons. I recommend searching during daylight hours only.
