This year’s theme is about survival. By now, you will probably have been regaled by some other caches with amazing tales of survival in the wilderness, been provided many tips and pointers about how to survive not only in the wild, but how to survive the wild. But the wild takes many forms. Some forms are only known to those, with open minds. Minds that probe into the depths of the human psyche. Minds that generally live in deep dark remote areas of the world like Hollywood. These minds, know intimately, some of the lesser known but ridiculously lethal threats. And fortunately for us, the methodologies for thwarting them. Although the research required to understand how to thwart the menace that may await us, is not often conducted by the well reasoned person, Dog_Cachers and I did that research. We researched till our searchers were sore. We researched and researched until our cable company told us to please stop using up valuable bandwidth. And now that our brains had become sufficiently numb from this extensive research (did we mention we conducted extensive research?) we provide you the following sage pieces of advice. Some may consider this oregano pieces of advice, but no….it’s sage. I know…, you’re saying “just get on with it….” Well…all in good thyme. Sorry…..too silly…. And a different theme entirely.
The following advice as you may have guessed from the title was, do you know how you might survive a sharktopus attack. This is an intelligent shark that has the tentacles of an octopus. Created by the military as a secret weapon. Like Space Force I guess. Luckily, Nicole, creates a device that will allow her to blow up a computer chip in sharktopuses brain with her computer, which Andy manages to shoot into S-11 (the sharktopus). Nicole hacks into the chip before overloading it, causing it to explode and kill S-11. Whereas the method of subduing certain disaster that we provide should not be considered conclusive and there may be other methods, but this is what our research suggested may be a prudent approach.
Now that you have survived our story, we provide you an opportunity to find the ninth horror, the Five Headed Shark – HAG XVII. The vilest of vile beasts, a cretin so vicious that they fear even themselves and can be found quaking in the corners of rooms upon encountering even a small mirror. We ask you the following, should you wish to embark on the quest to find the final cache in this series…[insert ominous music]:
What did Andy shoot into sharktopus:
1 – An outboard motor
3 - A device that creates harmonic imbalance in sealife
5 -A device that would allow a chip to be exploded
7 - A large spiked harpoon with floats attached.
