Chapter 1 –
Many moons (and a few suns ago), a local cacher followed Alice down the rabbit hole. They wrote of the adventures of Alice in Potts Road Esplanade Reserve. As they followed Alice, they left clues and stories for other cachers to follow. Thus, the adventure of Alice was born.
Cache Logistics –
This cache series to a tribute to the cache Alice (GC1QRZ4). Originally placed in 2009 by WackyB. All containers used in the series were original pieces of the multi that were recovered and reused to make this tribute.
Park around the area of S 36° 54.908 E 174° 57.902 (posted coordinates for bonus). It may seem like there are other places that you might be able to park, but we would suggest you park here only. The route for this series is a relatively straighforward 4 to 4.5km round trip walk on hilly cliff top terrain. Plan for at least two hours, although it may take you more or less.
Please bring adequate water and / or food with you, there is little to no facility out here, but mobile service should be decent.
