Alice Chapter 4 : Alice Fights Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

CyclicalCaching: The original Alice was an absolute classic!

It was a blast the day the four of us set out to give Alice a new life, reusing the containers that were still in play to create a new fun series for people to enjoy!

It’s been a fun nearly two years, but it’s time for Alice to finally sleep and for something new to take its place.

Thanks for all who visited and I hope you all had fun!

I have removed the container and any parts of the geocache to avoid any georubbish.

Final logbook photos attached.

Geocache Description:

Chapter 4 –

One cacher stepped forward, keeping a record of all visits and findings, trying to help Alice survive. Cachers resorted to call previous finders, reaching out, desperate to find Alice. The fight continued for years, giving Alice the strength to keep going!

Cache Logistics –

This cache series to a tribute to the cache Alice (GC1QRZ4). Originally placed in 2009 by WackyB. All containers used in the series were original pieces of the multi that were recovered and reused to make this tribute.

Park around the area of S 36° 54.908 E 174° 57.902 (posted coordinates for bonus). It may seem like there are other places that you might be able to park, but we would suggest you park here only. The route for this series is a relatively straighforward 4 to 4.5km round trip walk on hilly cliff top terrain. Plan for at least two hours, although it may take you more or less.

Please bring adequate water and / or food with you, there is little to no facility out here, but mobile service should be decent.

Don’t forget to save the number / letter for the final bonus cache.
