E-I-E-I-O
A little private rd with a name that I thought would make a fun pun.
The island used to belong to a local farmer named MacDonald, but he gradually sold some of the shoreline for cottages. Eventually the entire island was purchased by the local property owners association (some seasonal and some year-round), and that is how it remains today
You won't have to drive onto the private road, the cache is on the public fenceline.
I've been warned that there may be some wild parsnip growing in summer but the association does work to try and keep it under control.
