A golf course, whether it’s miniature, an executive 3-par course, or a full size public or private country club, is typically 18 holes. Holes one through nine are typically called the front nine and holes 10 through 18 are called the back nine.
Sudoku seems like a fitting puzzle since it's nine squares of nine numbers. So I’ve created a Sudoku to represent the front nine of a golf course using the traditional numbers 1-9. To add a twist to this, I’ve added a second puzzle to represent the back nine, requiring you to use 10-18 in the traditional Sudoku way.
Solve the puzzles, do the math (all subtraction since a golfer’s goal is to shoot a score of par or better), and you’re on your way to being the next Tiger Woods (yeah, right)!
